Copyright and Content

• You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to upload and translate any book content
• You must comply with all applicable copyright laws and regulations
• EchoRead takes no responsibility for the books or content that users upload to the platform
• You agree not to upload copyrighted material without proper authorization

Account Usage

• Provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
• Use the service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or misuse the platform

Free Tier (Web App)

New users receive a limited number of free translation credits to try EchoRead. Once these credits are exhausted, a subscription is required to continue using the service.

Free Tier (Mobile App)

New users receive a limited number of free translation credits and can create one story during the onboarding phase. Subscription is required to get access to any other features other than reading a story and looking up words in smart vocabulary on the story page.

Subscription Plans

We offer three subscription tiers with flexible billing options (weekly, monthly, and yearly). Token limits are proportionate to the billing period:

Mini Plan:

• 1M translation credits per month (≈50 stories)
• 250K translation credits per week (≈12 stories)
• Proportionate credits for yearly subscriptions

Super Plan:

• 3M translation credits per month (≈150 stories)
• 750K translation credits per week (≈38 stories)
• Proportionate credits for yearly subscriptions

Unlimited Plan:

• Unlimited translation credits up to 20M tokens per month
• Unlimited translation credits up to 5M tokens per week
• Proportionate limits for yearly subscriptions

All subscription plans include unlimited books, all supported languages, phrase-by-phrase translations, AI-powered story generation, AI lesson creation, smart vocabulary features, audio translations, the ability to save favorite phrases, and priority support.

Service Changes

We reserve the right to modify our pricing, plans, or service features. Continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Billing and Payment

• Subscriptions are billed according to the schedule provided by your selected payment provider (Apple or Stripe)
• When purchasing through Apple, billing follows the terms and renewal cadence of your Apple account subscription
• For Apple auto-renewable subscriptions, payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation, renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and renewal charges occur within 24 hours prior to the end of the period
• When purchasing through Stripe, billing occurs on the renewal dates shown at checkout and in your account
• You authorize us and the applicable payment provider to charge your chosen payment method on each billing cycle
• All prices are in USD unless otherwise specified

Credit Usage

Translation credits are consumed when you use our AI translation services. Credits do not roll over between billing periods and will reset at the beginning of each new billing cycle.

Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• You will continue to have access to subscription features until the end of the paid period
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
• For Apple subscriptions, manage or cancel auto-renewal in iOS by going to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions and turning off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends; Apple handles all billing adjustments for those purchases

Subscription Expiration (Web App)

When a user's subscription expires, they can no longer access the service further until they renew their subscription.

Subscription Expiration (Mobile App)

When a user's subscription expires, they can no longer create new stories, lessons, or upload books. However, they retain access to all previously created materials and can continue reading them with translations using any remaining credits. Once the subscription is renewed, the user's credits are automatically recharged to the monthly allowance included in their plan tier.
